I have since invited him to speak at several marquee programs at UCLA and our students have benefitted tremendously from his wealth of knowledge and experience. One of the things I appreciate most about him is that he tailors his message in a way that speaks directly to a range of audiences. He brings unique insights from his extensive industry experience to deliver interesting learning scenarios and highly impactful strategies that help students to think in a myriad of practical ways about how to move forward in their career journey.
Not only does he speak with passion but his own success is what drives his desire to see success in others. I highly recommend him to any organization looking to motivate its employees or provide greater value to its clients, and to any university looking to increase student engagement in career readiness.”

"Sahil’s presentations have taught me that involvement outside the classroom is just as important as performance within the classroom. He is able to speak from a student’s perspective and has demonstrated that there are a variety of relatively simple steps you can take as a student to find and achieve your career goals. His comprehensive presentations cover everything from brainstorming career options to contacting employers to interviewing tips and resume editing. Using Sahil’s advice, I have been able to develop a professional resume and obtain leadership positions within multiple on-campus organizations before my junior year! I’d highly recommend Sahil to any student eager to become more involved on campus and begin their career path!"

Along with his ability to provide meaningful and useful advice to his audience, Sahil is well-organized, easy to get along with, and personable. He always strives to pay attention to both our needs and the needs of his audience, while always looking for ways to make each presentation better than his last. His organization, professionalism, and ability to deliver puts myself and the other event coordinators at ease.
I strongly believe that Sahil’s presentations have given UCLA students an upper hand on the competition, and it is my hope that he will continue coming to UCLA, and other universities, to share his valuable professional advice.”

Throughout my mentorship, Sahil really took the time to identify the areas in which I needed improvement and made a strong effort for progress one meeting after another. He made himself very available throughout the whole process through text, email, and even spontaneous meetings to discuss pre-interview tips, last-minute edits, and more. I would definitely recommend Sahil and the Aspiring Professional to anyone that is serious about getting a head start in their career.”

“Sahil’s technique for translating experiences into a resume is brilliant. It really helped me tell my story and stand out among other candidates. Sahil also helped me strategically plan not only the start of my career but also the direction in which I want to take my career. None of your family and friends will be as dedicated to your professional success as he is as well. Seriously, Sahil is great.”

“Sahil Punamia draws on his past experience as a successful L.E.K. consultant to truly connect with his audience on a more intimate level. His unparalleled passion for helping others land a full-time offer is clearly evident in his detailed step-by-step breakdown on how to always achieve more, regardless of one’s current position. Many of Sahil’s key points have helped me throughout the recruiting process, whether it’s something quick like what words to replace when responding to common interview questions or something much more diligent like personal branding. He showed me, and will definitely show you, how to take advantage of every resource available in order to advance toward the ultimate goal – your dream job.”

Late 2016, we met up and I expressed my goal to move down to Southern California to experience life down there for a little while (I'm born and raised in Northern California) - his immediate response: "Let's make it happen." Though we're friends, Sahil's approach was very professional (yet still warm). We scheduled conference calls at specific dates and times for him to coach me through the job hunting process. He began with my goals, hopes and expectations. He then walked me through my resume - what do people look for? Key buzz words? Format, font, etc. - all in-depth and specific suggestions. From there, he helped me build a clear plan on how to land the job in SoCal, and more importantly, how to execute that plan. The plan was all-inclusive; it included networking, applying, interviewing, and follow up after I ultimately got the job 🙂 The best part about working with Sahil is how open and approachable he is; I can be absolutely honest with him about how I feel without any intimidation or apprehension. Whether there was a suggestion or action I didn't feel comfortable with or feedback on how ultimately feel about my new position, he welcomed the conversation and actively sought to mitigate or solve the disconnect while accommodating my feelings/thoughts.
Sahil doesn't work in my industry (finance/investments) but he has great people skills and advice on how to advance your career once you've landed the job. He truly is the whole package deal, I STRONGLY recommend his services to anyone seeking to move forward in, or even begin to establish, a career.”
